Word on the Street

Lisa is open, honest, vulnerable and full of passion for the Lord Jesus. She lives and speaks and teaches what she has worked out in her own life. ~ Shirley Unrau - Co-founder of Oasis Retreats, Kelowna, British Columbia

God has truly blessed Lisa with grace as a very gifted speaker. She has a genuine heart that is true and loving. People cannot help but be impacted. I believe her willingness to follow God's leading will not simply ripple but will become a Tsunami!  ~ Graine Sherwood - Women's Ministry co-ordinator - Willow Creek Baptist Midhurst, ON

Lisa brought a powerful message to over two hundred women as our keynote speaker.  The crowd was thoroughly engaged; at times you could hear a pin drop.  She had us laughing and crying along the way.  We absolutely loved her sincere and transparent approach.  She has an ability to empower and uplift hearts by marrying Scripture with real life experience. ~ Terri Mazik - Executive Director of First Place Options Ottawa, ON

Lisa has been the seminar leader twice at Wesley Acres Family Camp.  The first time it was a Women's Seminar and the second was open to all.   Her material is applicable to all people at any stage and in any walk of life.  Many lives have been positively touched and changed by her presentation of the Gospel in relevant terms.  Lisa is also an excellent author. ~ Carolyn Gonyou - Board Chair Wesley Acres Retreat Centre and Campground Bloomfield, ON

Lisa was the speaker at a ladies retreat in Northern British Columbia. Her honest, funny, engaging, personal, vulnerable and powerful message was a breath of fresh air, meeting the personal and spiritual needs of many women. We also appreciated how Lisa made herself available by joining in on all the fun, chatting at meals, going for walks with others who needed personal discipleship. God?s presence, love and care through Lisa was a blessing.~ Heather Wilson - Prince George, British Columbia

I have had the privilege of hearing Lisa speak a couple of times.  She was a keynote speaker at a conference, where I was the chair, for oncology nurses in London in 2012 and although she spoke at the end of the day, Lisa's audience was revitalized by her talk which told the story of her family and her son Ben's journey with Acute Leukemia as well as providing insight into how to live through such an experience despite the accompanying grief and sorrow that would accompany any such journey. All evaluations were laudatory and reflected the impact of the message inherent in Lisa's message.Lisa is so articulate, yet she speaks with great grace and humility, folding us all in her heart. ~ Susan Collins, RN, MScN, NP Acute Care, Former Chair, London Oncology Interest Group, a Chapter of the Canadian Association of Nurses in Oncology (CANO) London, ON

Lisa Elliott uses her great sense of humour, personal stories and scriptural understanding to communicate biblical truths. She has taken difficult subjects and been able to challenge people in a positive way to respond in obedience to God. I enjoyed sitting under Lisa's teaching an recommend her to any group.~ Gwen Pifer - Pastor's Wife - Oxford Baptist Church, Woodstock, ON

The insights and truths that the Lord has impressed upon Lisa's heart are timeless and meant for us all - to help us to not just survive, but to flourish and thrive in life. I so love and appreciate her precious vulnerability to be 'real'. There is no doubt that Lisa is an inspirational, living example of God's sustaining grace and power!  ~ Diane Schultz - Connected Women's Conference participant Bethel Church Sarnia, ON

Lisa was a guest speaker at my class for Maternal Child nursing recently. I was quite moved by her story and found her to be a warm and engaging speaker. ~ Kimberley Jackson, RN, PhD candidate/Lecturer University of Western Ontario

Motivational, transparent and anointed by God. If you are looking for a speaker who is going to speak straight to your heart from the heart then look no further. Lisa Elliott has a way of sharing her story and giving God all the glory during times of trials and triumphs that will encourage and ignite your own heart.~ Kim VanOostveen, Administrative Assistant and Women?s Ministry Co-ordinator Upper Thames Missionary Church Mitchell, ON

Transparent was one of the words I heard repeatedly after Lisa spoke at our Ladies Retreat. Women want to know that it is safe to share their deepest pain and to tell their stories. Lisa gives women that permission by the very act of sharing her own journey without glossing over her own struggles. But the dark hole never remains the central theme of Lisa's sessions. There are coping mechanisms carefully wrapped in Biblical truth, encouragement and joy woven into the journey, despite the darkness in Lisa's speaking and writing.~ Lynda Schultz - GIRLFRIENDS UNLIMITED First Baptist Church & Editor of THRIVE Magazine Timmins, ON
